Reviewers Guideline
The Journal of Computer Science, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence (JoCSDAI) relies on the expertise of reviewers to maintain the quality and integrity of published research. Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, fair, and timely evaluations of submitted manuscripts.
1. Confidentiality
- Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.
- They should not be shared or discussed with others without prior permission from the editor.
2. Objectivity
- Reviews should be conducted objectively and based on academic merit.
- Personal criticism of the author(s) is inappropriate and should be avoided.
3. Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers are asked to evaluate manuscripts based on:
- Originality and significance of the research
- Clarity and coherence of the presentation
- Methodological rigor and technical accuracy
- Contribution to the field of computer science, data science, or artificial intelligence
- Proper referencing of previous relevant work
4. Review Recommendations
Reviewers should provide clear recommendations, typically:
- Accept without revision
- Accept with minor revisions
- Revise and resubmit (major revisions)
- Reject
5. Timeliness
- Reviewers should complete their reviews within the allotted timeframe.
- If more time is needed, the reviewer should promptly inform the editorial office.
6. Conflict of Interest
- Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest (financial, institutional, collaborative, or personal relationships) that could influence their review.
- If a conflict exists, reviewers should decline the review.
7. Ethical Considerations
- Reviewers should be alert to any potential ethical issues in the manuscript, such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical research practices, and report them to the editor.
8. Constructive Feedback
- Reviewers are encouraged to provide specific, constructive, and respectful comments to help authors improve their manuscripts.
- Suggestions for improvement should be clearly explained and, where possible, supported with references.
