Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Data Science and Informatics Engineering (JoDSIE) undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published research.
- Initial Screening
The editorial team reviews each submission to check its relevance to the journal’s scope, adherence to submission guidelines, and originality. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to authors without further review. - Double-Blind Review
Eligible manuscripts are sent to at least two independent reviewers under a double-blind review system, where both authors’ and reviewers’ identities are kept confidential. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodological rigor, clarity, contribution to the field, and overall scientific quality. - Review Outcomes
Reviewers may recommend one of the following decisions:- Accept without revision
- Accept with minor revisions
- Revise and resubmit (major revisions)
- Reject
- Editorial Decision
The editor considers the reviewers’ comments and makes the final decision. Authors are notified of the decision along with the reviewers’ feedback to improve their work. - Revision and Resubmission
Authors who are invited to revise their manuscripts must address all comments and submit a revised version within the specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may undergo an additional round of review if necessary. - Final Acceptance
Once accepted, manuscripts proceed to the copyediting, layout editing, and proofreading stages before publication.
The journal upholds ethical standards in the review process and expects both authors and reviewers to adhere to principles of integrity, transparency, and fairness.
