1. Submission Fee

Free – There is no fee for submitting a manuscript to JOEER.

2. Article Processing Charge (APC)

Rp. 100,000.00 (IDR) – This fee is charged only after the manuscript is accepted for publication.

The APC covers the full cost of:

  • Editorial handling and peer review
  • Copyediting and layout formatting
  • DOI assignment and online publication
  • Long-term digital archiving and hosting
3. Open Access Policy

All articles are published under full open access, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This allows anyone to:

  • Read and download the article
  • Copy and redistribute the material
  • Adapt and reuse for any lawful purpose

As long as appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.

4. Waiver Policy

JOEER may offer APC waivers or discounts for authors facing financial hardship, especially those from low-income countries or unfunded institutions. Waiver requests must be submitted at or before the time of acceptance and will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the editorial board.

5. Payment Method

Payment instructions and bank details will be provided by the editorial team via email after the manuscript is accepted.
