Journal Policies
The Journal of Electrical Engineering Research (JOEER) is committed to maintaining high standards of transparency, integrity, and academic excellence. The following journal policies guide our editorial and publishing processes.
JOEER is an open access journal. All articles are freely available to readers without subscription or paywall. We believe that knowledge should be accessible to all in order to support global academic exchange.
Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).
The journal uses a double-blind peer review system.
- All submitted manuscripts are reviewed by 2–3 independent reviewers with expertise in the field.
- Average review duration: 4–8 weeks.
- Editorial decisions are based on reviewer feedback, editorial assessment, and compliance with journal ethics.

- JOEER has zero tolerance for plagiarism.
- All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin).
- The maximum similarity index allowed is 20%.
- Submissions with significant plagiarism or unethical reuse will be rejected and reported.
- Only individuals who have made significant contributions to the research and writing process should be listed as authors.
- All authors must approve the final version before submission.
- Changes to authorship after submission are discouraged and must be justified and approved by the editor.
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the objectivity of the work. These include:
- Financial relationships
- Institutional affiliations
- Personal or professional relationships
- Authors are encouraged to provide access to underlying data that supports their findings, unless restrictions apply (e.g., privacy or legal issues).
- Authors may include supplementary material or link to open data repositories.
- Retractions will be issued for publications found to contain major errors or ethical violations.
- Corrections will be published for minor errors that do not compromise the integrity of the article.
- All such notices will be clearly linked to the original article.
JOEER uses the PKP Preservation Network (PN) and other institutional repositories to ensure long-term digital preservation of all published content.
JOEER does not charge any article processing or submission fees. Publishing in this journal is free of charge for all authors.
- Authors retain copyright of their work.
- All articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
- This allows for reuse, distribution, and adaptation, provided the original work is properly cited.
Authors may appeal editorial decisions or file complaints related to:
- The review process
- Ethical issues
- Editorial behavior
